End of term
It's the end of term and Ivy's last day at infant school. Here is a picture of her and her best friend, on the left their first day in 2020 and on the right is this morning on their last day. She had a lovely final day.
I met with my surgeon today, he answered lots of questions. I have to make some decisions now too as there are some options which I need to decide which is difficult. I was injected with some iron substance to mark my lymph nodes and it stung so much, it actually made me cry, but it was over very quickly. I was also surprised when he told me today I will also most likely need radiotherapy too. I hadn't been expecting that. But still I am getting closer to the next step, so that is progress.
I was feeling a bit stressed today so spent most the day doing my cross stitch and listening to an audio book in a bid to escape which did help.
I'm glad the girls have finished school now. I'm looking forward to some lazy family days and no school run for a while!
