Loweswater terrace

We walked along Loweswater terrace this afternoon.
As you can see, it is perched up high above Loweswater with Whiteside and Grasmoor in the background. At the edge, on the right you get a glimpse of Crummock Water.
The foxgloves are going over now, and the heather will be in full bloom very soon.
We've had another dry day, but rain is promised for the weekend...I can't really say that it is much needed by the gardens and allotments.
