Favorite Flavor? Pink

This Dorantes Longtail butterfly, brunching on an Elegant Zinnia bloom, is a member of the Hesperiidae family aka Skippers (long tail skippers to be more exact). It's found from Argentina, north through Central America, Mexico and the West Indies to southern Texas and Florida. Sometimes they are spotted as far north as northern California, southern Arizona, southern Missouri and southern Georgia. They aren't very 'showy', but I find them beautiful none the less. Do check today's *extra for this same lovely enjoying some pink penta flowers.
*medical update...after more X-rays this morning...one more week of non-weight bearing. Fractured tibia is almost healed but not quite. Yikes! Another week of that wheelchair! Guess I'll have to learn to use those crutches!
