Can you spot the anomaly . . . . . ?
Yes, like so much else blame is laid at the door of Covid-19. Before it struck the road did take two-way traffic. With social distancing and widening of pavements (side-walks) the authorities changed the road system and made the road one-way but did not remove or turn off the redundant traffic lights.
It turns out that traffic flow unexpectedly improved after this change so the old two-way system was shelved indefinitely. One day I guess they will deal with the pair of traffic lights.
