This village scene has some things that were considered essential not long ago.
Still useful today but some have been superseded by technology.
GPS navigation, mobile phones, and emails have reduced many peoples need for the sign post, the telephone box, and the letter box.
However grit for the road in winter and a seat by the village green are not available electronically.
Some things need to be cared for and cherished.
