It wasn't going to be another bird

But then this baby long tailed tit turned up and how could I resist. Extra of one of the others - there were a few in the garden this morning. My blip was almost a tortoiseshell butterfly just to show I'd seen one at last but it was eclipsed by the LTT. I really like them. 

An unusually unscheduled day. Friends were supposed to be visiting but have had to postpone. A bit of a theme this week. Next week, in fact from tomorrow onwards, looks busy with each day quite packed so I'm going to make the most of a bit of quiet time.
