End of the holiday

...and a lovely day in the garden in hot sun, and barbecue lunch in the shade. In the evening we took C and H to the airport in beautiful light on the vineyards. Feeling a bit sad tonight, but knowing they'll both be back soon and for longer.

Bee update: our less-welcome visitors, the bees, seem to have left too, deterred from building a hive in our chimney by some nasty chemical sprays. No bees were harmed, the spray was just to put them off, and I hope they've found somewhere more suitable now.
