Aira Force.

A visit to the Ullswater area today and see how much water was flowing in this waterfall.  I parked at the High Cascades carpark and yes, there was a lot of water flowing over these so it looked a good chance there would be a lot falling down Aira Force. Standing on the new observation platform it makes it easier to take photos of the drop and this is the result.  As usual there were more tourists than expected.  Although paths have been improved on both sides of the falls some stone blocks are just that bit higher for someone who doesn't want to hurt his knee again.
A lovely day.  While back at the car I was lucky to avoid a swarm of flies. 
Two holidaymakers also did their best to avoid.
