To The Lighthouse

I met up with G and H at noon at the Old Vicarage Gardens at East Ruston, in the 50th anniversary year of the owners acquiring the property and 32 acre site. There are numerous garden rooms of different styles to explore with the occasional unexpected view, like the one above of Happisburgh  lighthouse. We spent a happy few hours exploring, with our cameras, including the obligatory trips to the tearooms. The weather forecast was poor, but I only had to put the camera away from light rain for 10 mins. I did get caught in heavy rain on the drive home and Holt has just had a 20 mins thunderstorm with 8.4mm of rain. I had an interesting journey there due to the closure of a small local road near my destination - a detour (unmarked) along lots of roads the width of which resembled the cycle paths in Milton Keynes! I've added an extra looking across a wildflower meadow to one of the gardens. Needless to say that I've only had time to edit 3 photos so far, although I have deleted 150 of the 250 taken.
