I was put early again with the boys so I could crack on this morning.

Then I went to collect my 'elf' from Dolphinton and take her to The Horseshoe in Eddleston for lunch and then on to the stunning gardens at Portmore.

Just wow! Highly recommend a visit, they're open Wednesdays 1pm-5pm through July and August. 

Poor S left Newcastle just before 1pm and had a hideous chain of events that left him unable to charge his car anywhere. What should have been a 2.5hr journey with a half hour charge/coffee stop turned into 7.5hrs of utter frustration. All on the other side of the border I may add. Would put anyone off getting or indeed keeping an electric car when the network fails so badly.
