Fairport Convention

A fabulous night out in Abergavenny (I know, right?).

Fairport Convention, inventors of Brit Folk Rock, 56 years performing on stage and still doing a terrific job of it. The complexities of their harmonies and playing were if anything better than the (oh so many) previous times we've seen them, and the Abergavenny Borough theatre was very modern and comfortable. Photography was prohibited, but as you can see, I wasn't the only one - at least I was only taking stills. ;-)

Dave Pegg has more than ten years on me, but looking at us together in the extra you really wouldn't know. Life in Brittany obviously suits.
