Ringlet

.......... a nice visit to the nature reserve meant I spotted lots of different butterflies. I was surprised by how many Red Admirals there were around - several bushes still full of blossom were very popular and covered with Red Admirals.
It was quite overcast a lot of the time with one small rain shower but occasionally the sun peeped out and brought even more butterflies out to play ;-)
I was glad I went today even though the weather wasn’t the best, as our schools break up for the summer on Friday, which means the nature reserves and country parks will be overrun with unruly children disturbing all the wildlife :-/
