Peacock

We had to nip into Dunfermline again and, with the weather more favourable than last time, followed up with a visit to Pittencrieff Park.

Starting with a coffee in the café we wandered all over the extensive grounds amid families, pre-school holiday clubs, dogwalkers and anything else you might expect - all very charming. We admired the pond with waterlilies and fish, the herbaceous borders with their enormous sunflowers and lots of bee-friendly blooms, and finished with a chat with the peacocks, who were eating their lunch - fruit and salad today.
