I’d booked an appointment with the Events Manager to discuss the RNA Trafalgar Night in October. Four of us from the Branch Committee attended and discussed menus, tables etc with Alisha. All went well, we just need to decide on the cost to members and guests and we can get the information out to the members.

Once the meeting was over Mrs S and I moved to the Rivers Edge restaurant in the hotel for our lunch, the two course deal for £19 or three for £26. We opted for two with a drink followed by coffee, total £41. Great food, great value and judging by the way the restaurant filled to capacity very popular.
In the evening I should have made the RBL Drumhead Service out at Wendron  it falling asleep and a late notification of a dress code combined to deter me, next time.

Book wise I’m midway through the second of two Damien Lewis books that I had dedicated to Joshua. I’m confident that I’ll have them finished before he and Tiana arrive but I have a third that I’d like to finish and give him.
