It's interesting that Henry Ford foresaw the damage that his greatest invention would inflict upon the planet and that he endeavoured to find ways to ameloriate that harm. Projects such as harvesting crops such as peanuts and soybeans to produce plastic, paint, fuel (ethanol) and synthetic rubber from the plant weed goldenrod.
