We drove up to the Fangacci pass at 1450m. 22c and a wild wind in the coppiced beech forest. The gauge back at the homestead hit 37.1 so no records here today.

It’s now 22.45 and 24.3 so we may be heading for a tropical night - not less than 20c. The worst of the heat is further south (and west on Sardinia).
