Inspired by a wall plaque.

I was walking by the river Kent this morning near the new Gooseholme bridge and spotted a heron. He was hiding in the bushes so I couldn’t get a good picture. Then I saw these flying geese on the approach to the bridge. There is no explanation as to why it is there. I guess it will be accompanied by another plaque telling us the name of the bridge and when it was built.
