Orange and Yellow

These Aloes over the road from our house continue to give a lovely display. I liked the yellow border of flowers in the front of  them. They only flower for a couple of hours each day when the sun is directly overhead. No blue sky to complement the Aloes as a cold front with rain is moving in.
I won't bore you with details of Pumpkin's episode today, except to say we know where she can get out. So she is banned from the front garden until we can put barriers on the gates...or fatten her up so she can't get through the bars!!! 
Tomorrow hubby's brother and his wife are coming to stay for the night. Looks like it's going to be cold and rainy but hopefully we'll still go out for dinner. -
