Ely Cathedral

Took a local train along to Ely today, and we've had a marvelous day wandering around the town and visiting the very impressive Cathedral - as shown in the main snap.

Highlight of the day has to be the 'Octagon Tower Tour', which we went on whilst at the Cathedral - if you're ever in Ely; really, don't miss it!

We were taken right up inside the Tower and the views were simply stunning - both into the Cathedral; and also outside, from the external roof-areas.

Back to Norwich this evening - but more Cathedral-antics planned for tomorrow; this time over in Cambridge :-)
