In the circle

I photographed a Little Pied Cormorant this morning, as I walked to the village. It spent very little time on the surface, constantly diving and foraging underwater. Unlike many cormorants, the Little Pied is said to often forage alone. That was certainly the case this morning. This afternoon we had grey skies and occasional drizzle.
