Cromarty lighthouse
Mike got the email to say that the digital line was ready to go so he set that up which took some time.it’s quite clever as you can link it to your mobile phone so if anyone rings when we’re out the mobile will pick it up, not that we get many calls to the home phone.
We had a parcel to post so after going to the post office we went to Udale bay. The tide was in. Lots of Canada geese and a family of Shelduck were present. The Osprey was sitting on one of it’s favourite posts but too far away for a photo.
On to Cromarty where we had our lunch near the lighthouse. We watched the ferry struggling in the wind and tide.
Saw Ian Rankin , a Scottish Crime writer, who has a house in Cromarty.
A lovely evening and looked like a good sunset the other side of the hill.
