Baby Caterpillar

Here’s one of our newly hatched Monarch butterfly caterpillars, it’s 2-3 days old. Pencil point added for size comparison and that hole below it is where the egg hatched and how much of the milkweed leaf it had eaten up to this point. 
We released five full grown Monarch Butterflies yesterday.
