Breakfast Beauties

We had Netty and the girls, and her Dad, here from Galícia, for breakfast, as about the only time we could. I made eight poached eggs at once (not perfect, but OK), with smoked salmon, mushrooms with bacon and garlic, and loads of tomatoes and grapes from our garden, plus nuts and seeds and all sorts, and a fresh-out-of-the-oven loaf of Mike's bread. As usual, didn't think to take a photo till we'd eaten the food.

You can see the net over one of our fig trees in the background. We picked all the red grapes today, as they were attracting wasps, as well as birds.

I didn't eat much because, as soon as we'd cleared up, went for a meal at Ermelinda and Cecílio's, with Padre Luís. Lovely to be together, and catch up with each other.

Supposed to be packing, but ended up doing all sorts of other things, and Mike has to go to the Finance office in the morning about the building, so I'll do it then.

Gratefuls:
- the friendship with both the breakfast and the lunch folk; both special and so different
- that Ermelinda's nephew is recovering so well, walking with crutches, but walking, and hoping to go back to Uni in the autumn
- being able to help a friend in Brazil, and good news (as well as sad) from there
