We took two grandsons on a boat tip to the Bass Rock and the bird life there.  Gannets were the main attraction - it has Europe's largest colony.  they have been hit hard by bird flu but numbers seem to have stabilised though the place is less crowded than it once was.  The ideal shot would have been one where a gannet was just divig inti the water looking for something.  At least the blipped one is thinking about it.
