Wisteria at Tyntesfield

After dropping my SIL off at Bristol Airport for her flight to Venice (for work), my brother and I took Dad to Tyntesfield, our second National Trust property in two days.

Unlike yesterday, beautiful weather, sunshine and 19 degrees. After lunch at the Pavilion Café, a look around the Orangery and Kitchen Gardens, full of colourful flowers, then up to the ornate Victorian Gothic Revival house and chapel, modelled on the flamboyant Gothic architecture of the Sainte Chapelle in Paris. Thankfully I wasn’t the one pushing Dad, uphill all the way back to the car!

In extras, a view of the chapel (might swap to main pic), and a collage of other scenes from our visit, including a House Martins’ (?) nest with the young peeping out.

Thank you for all your recent kind comments, stars and hearts.
