Laundry

What you see scattered before you are the endless joys of laundry day – towels drying in front of the bookshelf & filling the room with that strange detergent-slash-wet-dog smell (maybe this is not an optimal location for drying towels, I now realise, considering what books usually think of moisture) – the bookshelf itself neat and organised with (may I add) the LPs arranged in alphabetic order according to the artist – cheap LED lanterns hanging in a festive ribbon, held in place by the CDs (yes, in alphabetic order) – also books next to & before & on top of other books (we will not talk about how they are organised, sorry) – on the right, the reading nook with chair and lamp and tall Dracaena plant whose Finnish name is the mother-in-law's-tongue – calm colourless evening light from outside mingling with cozy lamp-glow – might just sit down there & crack open a novel after writing this, why not.
