Sparrow

Today we went with our daughter and grandchildren to the Wellington Botanic Gardens.
After visiting the playground we walked to the duck pond where the children enjoyed a snack before feeding the ducks.
Sparrows also showed interest in the bread being fed to the ducks and several sat on the bullrushes at the water's edge which made it possible for me to get photographs.

No rain again today, but cloud increased during the day and wind is predicted for tomorrow. Wellington might live up to the reputation of Windy Wellington.
