Up and at 'em early doors for a quick burst on my pal's bike - out on some quiet roads around the villages east of Nottingham before returning to get showered, packed up and ready for the trip in the car up to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. 

It's a great place - terrific art in beautiful surroundings, what's not to love? And we were blessed with a lovely sunny day as well.

Dropped off by our hosts at Wakefield Kirkgate for the train to Leeds, and then just a short wait for the onward train to York where we're spending the night. A wander, an alfresco pint by the river, excellent Thai Street food at Zaap, a stroll down The Shambles on the way back to the hotel. Sleep well tonight? I reckon so.
