Diary of an Edinburgher

What a game!!

Another day where the weather predicted rain most of the day, which is somewhat off-putting for dog walks. But we set off anyway, with fingers crossed. No rain. We called in to one of the neighbourhood cafes, actually one that Archie doesn't actively drag me past with all his strength. We also went to check out the NHS 75th anniversary crochet bomb on the top of the post box. They've been there for a few days, and I think they used to stand up, but have been rained on a couple of times, so all the figures have now kind of collapsed. Though I managed to get the matron to stand up for a few seconds.

Met Dougal and his mum and they came home for a cuppa. The rest of the day was taken up with - yes - the men's singles final at Wimbledon. And what a game it was too - Phew! I almost felt sorry for Djokovic at the end - he may not have another chance to beat Federer in the titles race.

JR and Archie, being not so interested in sport of any sort, went out for a big walk in the afternoon.Though JR was actually interested in watching the last couple of sets of tennis!
