Crowe Hall

We went with A&H to see Kiss me Kate by a local theatre company. D'Oyly Tarte, in the grounds of Crowe Hall in Stutton. The house was built originally in 1601 and fell into disrepair in the 1900's. The current owner had it restored it and doubled in size. All the new additions are in the Elizabethan style so people like me can't see what parts are 400 years old and which 50. The performance was good, despite the local lawyer being part of the cast.
