Pouring the Ashes

A special day today on what would have been my Dad's 93rd birthday.  Today we have created a memorial for my mom and we have poured the ashes of my sister and my Dad..  We all had something to do involving flowers, personal treasures, poems, thoughts and wild flower seeds.  We all put different things in the holes and all poured some of the ashes. Louie was pleased to help with throwing seeds,  placing flowers , pouring the ashes and putting the soil back in the holes.

So Mom, Dad and Gill are all together in the Natural Burial Ground under the Ash Tree where we can all visit when we want to.

The rain held off just long enough for us to do the ashes but we got soaked getting back to the cars.

An important day for our little family.
