Feeling the strain
Native Australian eucalypts have a surprisingly small rootball so it’s fairly common for them to come down in storms. This causes me considerable consternation if they happen to fall over a fence, not only because the stock go walkabout but I need to repair the fence!
I have 3 sets of strainers but these, despite not being out of place in a museum, are my favourites. Amongst various tools and pieces of agricultural equipment, they were bequeathed to me by my late father-in-law. They make repairing fences a pleasure ….. well, almost.
