If you're feeling adventurous, Golden Gai district is one of the more rewarding drinking destinations in central Tokyo, it's a collection of ramshackle buildings, leaving it a mysterious and compelling hangout for musicians, filmmakers, artists and booze-hounds alike. Bars are tiny in size and except up to 5 people only, they all know each other so you'll think twice if you really 'fit' in.
