Across the Line
When I'm not depicting seedy alleys and underground carparks where illegal drug deals and gangland assassinations seem destined to be scheduled, I often shoot electrical wires, railway stanchions and telegraph poles.
In truth I am frequently confronted with this view of railway overhead powerlines and a fading western sky. That is because we often call into the local IGA which is situated right opposite. Every time we stop, the scene looks slightly different and very often it is photogenic for some reason ... as it is right now.
Like most low key pictures, you can't see it properly unless it's viewed against a dark field, like it is in LARGE
