The Long Pond

It's been ages since I've taken a photo of the long pond. I walked down and took a photo on my phone but wanted to take one with my good camera. So back home and then back down. No bobcat today ...

The expected inch of rain didn't happen last night. I kept waking up expecting to hear rain pounding on the roof but nothing. Supposedly another inch is to come tomorrow night. Even though we've only had a couple hot, sunny days and the rest have been cloudy and misty, the ground is starting to dry out. We haven't had to actually water with a sprinkler yet but if we don't get the water tomorrow it will come to that. It's been so nice not to have spend the time moving hoses around.
