Never a dull moment

Living in SA definitely requires a certain amount of adaptability.

We have no water after what was promised as a 58 hour repair outage, while essential repairs were done. They failed to add the extra 4 to 10 days that it will take for the system to replenish itself.

Cooking and baking with the required need to heat pool water to wash dishes made the process a bit more cumbersome.

I then made a visit to a local supermarket where part way through my shop the lights went out. Waiting for the usual delay between the power going out and the generator kicking in took longer than normal. Aha, the generator wasn’t playing nice.

We were ushered to the tills with our trolley loads as the tills would soon go down.

I just loved this guy’s determination to find the right pack of chickens fillets before the doors were finally closed.
