Birthday party for Jen’s Grandma at a restaurant near Epsom Downs. Lots of her family and friends which was lovely to be a part of. Good food too which always helps. Kara was on good form again. Of course she wasn’t going to sit in her chair for what turned out to be a good 4 hours in the end. So a combination of books, food, toilet breaks and then running outside did the trick. By the end she was shattered and after 2 nights of bed after 9pm I think it was a relief to her, and us, to get her down by 7:30pm!
