Adelaide
Today the boys went off to watch the golf pretty early, so it was just us girls. Mum is sadly quite sick, so she was in bed pretty much all day. Eventually we decided to go for a walk to the beach which was actually really nice. Instead of just rocks, the beach here was actually made majority of a thick muddy sort of sand. There was shallow water almost everywhere and it made for some great photo opportunities, so sadly today is one of the days I would appreciate being able to add an extra like the rest of my family. It was a lovely time just playing in the water and mud and running around (I was very proud of myself for somehow keeping my white jeans relatively clean) but it got hot so we decided to go back for swimmers.
We're staying in a caravan park, with hundreds and hundreds of identical cabins on identical streets everywhere. Returning to get swimmers was actually much harder than anticipated, and we definitely spent over half an hour walking aimlessly until we found ourselves somewhere familiar. We kept our stress levels very satisfactory with the multiple bars of chocolate I'd brought though so it was alright.
We did get swimmers and walk back to the beach, watching where we went a bit more closely this time. Of course by the time we got to the water it was freezing cold again, which didn't stop us going in and in my case fully submerging myself. It was great fun but our lips were blue when we got out.
We watched a movie then went out for dinner and ice creams with Dad and the boys. So far Scottish ice cream > English ice cream.
