A Boris Bike

Today was lovely and sunny, so I decided to put on my cool new dress. And then I got bored so Raluca and I went to central London and looked around Harrods and went to Hyde park and decided to try Boris bikes. (Do they have an official name?)

And oh my are those confusing. The pay system is really odd, half the bikes are broken, and it's really a quite stressful process. But eventually we got them and it was really quite fun. Though the bikes are pretty big and it was quite daunting to ride one after not having done so in about five years. I'm not entirely sure why they think allowing just about anyone to ride one without any safety equipment is safe, but whatever, it was pretty fun.
