Haughmond

A marvellous day trip to Shrewsbury to catch up with Hannah and all of her goings on. A strangely blustery and chilly walk up Haughmond Hill on the outskirts of Shrews, with good views, followed by beige coloured fried snacks in a nearby pub (delicious).

We meandered to the town centre, which is packed full of interesting places and tidbits. Gelato was obligatory as the weather had perked up a tad. I don’t see myself living in a Midlands market town, but if I was ever to choose one, Shrewsbury would be top of the list. Simply delightful, with cute sights and interesting history around every turn.
