Meeting Mel

A rare sight on our lake: a real ocean rowing boat! I didn't want to miss it, so I rowed my skiff over for a quick chat. The rower's name is Mel and she plans to row across the Atlantic alone (!) in this boat at the beginning of December. The trip is supposed to take 50-60 days, she is collecting money for a charity and more information can be found here:
