Putting the rails to good use

The freezer is now being used as a fridge. I have booked a repair; it is for the Monday 24 July. I shall make jam with the fruit and try to eat as much of everything else as possible. I should have booked a repair earlier, but stupidly I thought, as it was a freezer, they would have more earlier slots available.
 
We had visitors this morning and when they left my husband was able to come up the front steps using the rails to say goodbye to them; today’s picture is of him.
 
The temperature at noon today was eighteen degrees Celsius.
