Starlings

The starlings had moved into the attic in the house we were staying in. This scruffy parent was feeding a very demanding brood of chicks right above our heads! first feed about 4am. I think we shall miss the cacophony tonight! Sad to have left the beautiful beautiful island but lovely to be home and so warm and sunny with the new garden filling out (with rather too many weeds, hands and knees job tomorrow).
