Sums it up

The photo isn't a great snap as it's taken through double glazing but it  sums up today apart from the fact that you can't tell it's windy and cold as well!
Summer has gone. Top temp outside today wasn't much above 16C. Meanwhile in Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece, it's baking in the 40sC. Hard to imagine when you are pulling your cardi or your coat on here.
Usual Friday shop which was disappointing as there were no boxes of maltesers! This afternoon I went to specsavers to get my specs and then B&M for maltesers. Bought 2 big bags and was made up till Terry pointed out they are teasers (which I am not keen on)!.
Rain is forecast all weekend so I won't be venturing far. Maybe the gym on Sunday.
Nearly finished the Ali McNamara book (Breakfast at Darcy's) - an excellent story. Cracking writer.
