Friday: Recycling Day + Rain

With the car windscreen wiped … and not …

I was on my way home, having driven to the place with the long name - the items I wanted were “out of stock” but Monday is delivery day …!

Driving down the A5, it was around 11:30am and I fancied a latte and some fruity flapjack. Pulled into the garden centre car park, very busy but found a space. 2 people in the queue at the cafe my order delivered in super quick time.

Near the entrance to the garden centre shop there were some colourful plants in tubs - a very pretty purple flower with aromatic leaves, found a similar plant in “Search and Rescue” for £5 marked down from £10  - bargain, think it’s a Salvia :-))

 Next stop Lidl - by now the rain was torrential … :-(((

Bumped into a friend and did lots of talking whilst shopping - the freezer is empty so had a long list, we should be ok for a few months now!

MrD and I are watching The First Night of the Proms - Clive Myrie is one of the presenters, it’s relaxing and a nice change … still raining …
