Rain

The weather battered the house all night and into the morning, which we were expecting at least. By late morning, we braved the weather and headed back to Porthleven for lunch ina nice restaurant, then wandered down to look at the stormy sea (see extras). It was certainly a different seascape to our visit earlier in the week! Very tempestuous. We did catch sight of a seal bobbing about just outside the outer harbour - it seemed to be enjoying the movement of the waves.

We then drove on for a cream tea at Roskilly’s Farm (one scone between us was quite enough!), and then back to the cottage to catch the second of the men’s tennis semi-finals. Our last night here so a bit of packing up ready for an early start tomorrow.
