The Indoor School Fete

Rainy, rainy day... who would think it was mid-July. With scorching temperatures on the mainland, we appear to be going to the other extreme.

Ivy's school fete was initially postponed because of teacher strikes, otherwise it would have been a beautifully sunny day. As it was, we all went into the school hall - crowded, got and steamy and entirely delightful. Our pennies were sacrificed in exchange for a bit of plastic tatt or a chewy sweet, but everyone was on tip top form.
