Sea of Blue

A magnificent river of blue flowers provided by a ' wildflower mix' at Strichen zcommunity Park. The dominant species is Phacelia - interspersed with flax, poppies, corn marigolds, ox-eye daisies, red cloer and other species.  Unfortunately not all native to Aberdeenshire but nevertheless they were attracting lots of insects and provide a wonderful expanse of colour in the park.
