flowers in the rain

It was pouring with rain this afternoon and I needed a walk.  I've just started a prescription for iron supplements and wanted to see if they worked.  It's only been 2 days, so a bit optimistic.....  

We headed to Milton Keynes shopping centre - about 4000 steps and all under cover.

It's the start of the MK International Festival and came across this installation of 200,000 flowers, hanging from the ceiling.  See extra for more.  

It's quite amazing - (i) that someone had the idea in the first place and (ii) - the amount of work that went into threading all these flowers onto wire.

I was a bit puffed by the time we got back to the car, but definitely progress.
