Lugano at night

Last night I couldn't sleep, stared into the heavy rain outside, listened to the little stream beside the house getting to be a full-grown torrent and watched floods going down the streets.
In the morning we packed our stuff and went to Lugano in the Ticino - it presented itself so much friendlier!
We were able to have a hugh picknick in the park in the sun and felt a little sorry for the others who stayed at home...
